I forget how many Fat Mondays there have been, but I’ve been dancing around 195lbs since jumpstreet. I can’t shake the weight, no matter what I cut out. It makes me want to empty all the G2 out of the fridge and go grab a 12 pack of coke.

Fat Monday, Update: I’m a hoss.

Starting weight: 196 lbs
Weight after 1 week: 194 lbs UPDATE: I CAN’T READ A SCALE. it’s actually 198. Gained two pounds of muscle.
What I’ve changed: Cut out soda and started drinking G2. I still need a caffeine fix, so I usually have one cup of coffee in the morning to get me through the day.  [...]

I might as well eat this scale. I probably could. My weight has went up and down since I stopped playing ultimate regularly after grad school. It’s time for it to go back down. I only wear pants with elastic and name each one of my meals. There’s gotta be some therapy for this.

My Samosa Recipe (For Elliott)

Ingredients:

Potatoes – cut into cubes
1 Lemon
Salt
1 cup flour
Tumeric
Garam Masala
1 batch of Cilantro
1 bag frozen peas
Tortillas (small ones)
Cumin
Jalapenos

1. Boil cubed taters until soft (while boiling taters, can cut the tortillas into strips–3 strips/tortilla)
2. Drain water out and  Mash taters all up
